West Cyclades I

The next day, we will continue the tour to Kimolos island. Kimolos is a beautiful little island of the Cyclades, located next to Milos. Although it sits next to one of the most popular Greek islands, Milos manages to keep its unspoiled charm. This island is a world unto itself! Famous for its amazing beaches, crystal clear waters and picturesque architecture, the island is shaping up to be one of the hottest alternative destinations in Greece. Prassa beach on the northeast of the island is one of our best options for swim stop, but it always depends on the weather conditions.

Today we will sail to the south of Milos where we will visit the beaches Tsigrado, Fyriplaka and Gerakas. Provatas Bay will be our choice for overnight.

On day 4 we will sail to the big highlights of our trip. First stop for swimming at Gerakas beach where a long and narrow strip of light sand under the shadow of a tall mountain standing right behind the beach. There is a wild beauty to this landscape and while you enjoy your swim in the turquoise water you will not get enough of the view of the tall rocks threatening to displace the beach. The second stop for swimming will be at Kleftiko Beach, one of the world’s most famous spot. At first sight, the place will look familiar as it is pictures in most travel guides about the island. Impressive rocks spring up from the sea, forming natural caves and rare geological phenomena. In the afternoon we will sail to our final destination for today, the main port of Milos “Adamas” where we will spend the night.

Today you will have the chance to take a road trip to the northern beaches of Milos, Sarakiniko, Fyropotamos and Mandakia. In the afternoon you can visit the capital of the island “Plaka” where you could see one of the most beautiful sunsets and the local gastronomy.

The next day we sail toward the Polyegos island, just a few miles to the east of Milos. Polyegos has a marvelous geological diversity and sailing from the south cape up to the north, offers a magnificent experience. This island is the largest uninhabited island of the Aegean Sea and one of the most beautiful destinations for sailing holidays, with emerald waters and wild natural landscape. You can also find many interesting caves, some of them are shelters of the Mediterranean Monk Seals Monachus Monachus. After enjoying the amazing waters of Polyegos we sail to the main port of Sifnos, Kamares. here you will find a beautiful beach with shallow waters with light blue color. In Kamares port you can find plenty of traditional tavernas, cafes and small shops. We suggest you to visit the main town of Sifnos in a location that offers an authentic Cycladic atmosphere with white houses of traditional architecture and many bars where you could enjoy a nice party.

After an amazing experience we had on the area of the Western Cycladic Islands, we will have some time to enjoy the sea and the sun on a beach at Sifnos, before our return to Paros island and the final check-out.
