Our Story
The beginning
Our family business officially entered the yacht chartering industry in 1995, but its roots trace back to 1969 when our grandfather, Captain Thodoris, a former engineer in the Greek Navy stationed on Salamina Island, independently constructed a 25-feet sailboat. Initially used as a fishing vessel, it eventually became a vessel for daily excursions, ferrying passengers from Koulouri Port in Salamina to the picturesque destinations of Kanakia Beach, Kogchi Beach, and Peristeria Beach.During that time, the allure of exploring the island’s beauty by boat captivated many summer visitors.
Continue of the era
In 1986, Captain Thodoris retired, and the younger members of our family obtained a new modern monohull and a motorboat, marking a commitment to continue the family’s sailing tradition. Initially pursued as a hobby, sailing evolved into a chartering venture with clients in 1996.
Fast forward to 2018, and the torch was passed to Alexandros and Stavros Fournaros, who resolved to carry on the family business. They expanded the fleet by adding more sailboats, infused modern concepts, collaborated with exceptional boat owners, and established a base in Salamina, where their grandfather, Captain Thodoris, had originally embarked on this captivating journey.
